Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was Amal R. Alamuddin, a Lebanese British attorney and rights activist. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished professional career in the field of human rights and international law has earned her acclaim internationally. The most prominent clients she worked with were countries like Armenia that was battling for the recognition of Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in the year 2014 and immediately became an iconic name in pop media. Years before this though she was already famous and loved in the legal world as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients effectively and with great success. Her expertise ranges the spectrum of social justice, human rights to representing multinational corporations during negotiations or court cases regarding the regulations of government.
